Drexel Food Lab Alumni Fundraiser

Drexel Food Lab is hosting an alumni fundraiser at Bar Hygge in Fairmount to celebrate the release of Dragon Tears beer, a collaboration between Chef Ziccardi's Kitchen Garden class, which grew the hops, and Brewery Techne. 21+ The event is free to attend and pay as you go for food and beverage. The Global Influence of Japanese Dashi and Umami Workshop

We are excited to host Chef Lina Nagaya’s culinary workshop and training, "The Global Influence of Japanese Dashi and Umami." Sponsored by Dashi Okume and co-sponsored by Kiwami, this event will be on April 25th 2025 from 10am-12pm in our kitchen at Drexel University. Event will include talk, demonstration, and dashi tasting. Space is limited, RSVP to JW3839@drexel.edu to attend. Students will have the opportunity to make their own dashi blend.
